Along with the fine August skies came the chance to listen to Stan Honey as he made a presentation of his life including his circumnavigation of the world aboard ABN Amro 1, the winning yacht in the Volvo Around the World Ocean Race. Upstairs in the South Beach Yacht Club overlooking the harbor was the perfect location to receive a champion yachtsman’s engrossing talk on being an entrepreneur, life on the high sees and the teamwork and dedication that it takes to see one’s dreams through to the finish.
